Non-destructive testing enables built environments to be investigated without the need for disturbance or risk to the inhabitants of a building. No damage is caused to structures and the techniques have a wide range of applications from historic buildings to industrial buildings and from office to retail environments. It can be used to determine a wealth of information from simply locating reinforcement detail within concrete, to determining the length of a pile.

The NDT investigations GBG offers include flue surveys, cramps/tie locations, cover depth, reinforcement location, void detection, corrosion, concrete condition surveys, pile depth (PIT), dampness/leak detection, and a whole range of structural condition surveys.
