GBG provide innovative engineering specialising in forensic structural and geophysical investigation. The company has expanded in the provision of non-destructive testing and offers a holistic approach to building remediation investigation and consultancy.
The company has expanded from the original office in Cambridge to include satellite offices in Sydney (Australia), New York (USA), and London (UK). GBG provide in-situ structural investigation to complement the non-destructive techniques already being offered to clients.
Much of GBG’s work involves heritage projects including buildings and monuments of historical importance.
With an in-house geotechnical team and structural engineering division GBG can provide consultancy through all stages of ground investigation and structural/remedial design.
GBG investigates a wide range of structures from historically significant buildings to small private residences; all of which require expert appraisal and attention to detail when assessing their construction and condition. Some of our more notable projects include: The Foreign & Commonwealth Office; Somerset House; Aston Villa FC; Cambridge University; Lord Mayors Coach; Scarborough Pier; Tate Modern; and Sydney Harbour Bridge.
"Technology solves nothing: It is the skill and ingenuity of its user that brings value..."
